Born in Fulda, Germany, and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Zarkia is a newly independent author. Her debut release, Tangled Webs: Love, Lust, and Diamonds, was released on September 7th, 2018. Zarkia's passion for writing began in elementary with writing short stories and even getting the highest possible score on her 4th grade writing assessment. Eventually, her passion began to fade away as she got older and explored other interests. She was drawn back into writing after sharing her story with a close friend and receiving a tremendous amount of positive feedback. Reading the work of other authors in various genres has always been an outlet for her to get a break from her daily activities. She is a Florida International University alumna with her Masters of Science degree in Exceptional Student Education with an Autism Endorsement. Today, Zarkia is a high school educator, wife, and mother of two beautiful daughters.
